What exactly does Rynah by Rynah do?
Rynah by Rynah custom makes wedding dresses.

We also custom make second/ reception/ after party dresses for our inhouse brides.

We do not make traditional ceremony dresses or bridesmaids dresses or mother of the bride or groom dresses.
How much are your wedding dresses?
It is not easy to give a definite price for a custom made wedding dress. Price is mostly dependent on design, fabric, appliques, production time etc.

Generally, we work with a bride’s budget and I will advise accordingly if she needs to adjust the budget or the design.

That being said, please call us and we will give you an estimated quote or a price range – we do this simply because the final price of a custom made wedding dress depends on a lot of factors.

PS; Our wedding dresses come with a plain veil of choice.
How does fabric affect price?
How does design affect price?
Different designs consume different metres of fabric.
For example, an A line tulle wedding dress with a cathedral train (think of a cathedral veil) will consume more fabric than a satin mermaid wedding dress with a sweep train.
Assuming that the A line tulle wedding dress consumes 10m of fabric while the satin mermaid wedding dress consumes 5m, then it is clear that these two wedding dresses will have different price points.

How long does it take to produce a wedding dress?
When do I need to make an order?
It does not hurt to start the process as soon as possible!
We always tell brides that as long as you are talking about a wedding with the groom, then you can start your bridal consultations.

In our opinion, there is no harm in starting your custom made process (1)one year, (9)nine months or even (6)six months in advance.

Keep in mind that we need time for the consultations, finalizing the design, sourcing/ shipping in of fabrics, fittings, alterations and finishing.

The earlier you start, the better.
Do you allow brides to bring in their own fabric?
Can I bring my mother’s wedding dress/ part of her wedding dress as part of my ‘something old’?

Please note that the first bridal consultation can take anywhere from 45mins to 1 hour.

Appointments are greatly encouraged. No walk ins.

The bride shares what design/s she is looking for.

If interested in coming in for a bridal consultation, the bride is booked accordingly.

The bride makes a payment of KES 5,000 before the consultation.

On the day of her consultation, the bride is welcome to come with 2 guests (bonus points if she comes with her wedding shoes as they are used to measure the length of her wedding dress).

The bride, with the help of a bridal consultant, selects 3 – 4 wedding dresses to try on.

If the bride finds her wedding dress and veil during this consultation, and commits by making a payment, the necessary alterations/ modifications are noted.

Once the alterations/ modifications are done (relative to the wedding day), the brides comes in for her final fitting.

Afterwhich, the wedding dress goes for dry cleaning, ironing and/ or steaming.

The wedding dress and veil are now ready for pick up.
